When he gets out there on that stage, Jack White's voice has a tendency to sound like a tornado moving through a city; full of stuff it's collected over time and ready to cause some damage to those in its path. It sounds like it can be barely reined in and that's why it comes off as authentic, amazing and sometimes, transcendent. You can check out an example of the voice when Jackie White and Meg play "Let's Shake Hands" in this clip from their new movie Under Great White Northern Lights. Enjoy.
