A soundtrack for the upcoming film of the same name, Ivory Tower shows Chilly Gonzales continuing his adventurous, eclectic jazz/hip-hop trajectory. When Gonzales is on he's brilliant, but the project falters – badly – all too often. Such moments put a damper on things, but can’t overshadow the many obvious highlights.
