Strong moments are far between on this eighteen minute EP. Alas, those blips of interest aren’t enough to keep listening; not all junk is worth reinventing. Static and jerky loops do not a song make, nor is twenty seconds a song. For better snippets of music, watch some car commercials.
Imagine rooting through a landfill and tossing the interesting tchotchkes you find into a shopping cart. You’ll gather some gems, no doubt, but you might also accidentally toss in that manky stuffed animal with the weird bugs you didn’t notice. This quirky fifteen minute release is treasure and teddy bears.
