Fifty-word reviews
The grit and smooth of Peaceblaster combine in a heady concoction that challenges anyone to sit still and ignore the tension that pervades humanity. A kaleidoscope of electronic beats, stretching melody, spoken and sung word, this formidable album is built on dichotomies that at once calm and agitate.
Ad Explorata is urgent, dramatic, determined, and ultimately omnipotent. When I close my eyes while listening, I see plumes of fire majestically erupting from deep canyons. Killer soundtrack if you're running far, driving fast, on meth, or need a montage - amazing ability to sell a mood without using any vocals.
