What else we were talking about that week

[Our fearless team, Ben Piper and Michael Spencer spent three days in beautiful Oxford, Maine, checking out the first (hopefully) annual Nateva Music Festival. With over 50 bands spanning genres of indie, folk, alt-country and reggae, the festival had a little something for everyone. Check out all our coverage here.]

There were far too many fantastic bands at Nateva for our team to catch them all. Here's a round-up of a handful of them and Michael's notes on the shows:

- The Felice Brothers took Nateva by storm twice, one sweaty afternoon main stage set and a killer late night show in the tiny Port City Music Hall.

- Locals Bow Thayer & The Perfect Trainwreck truly rocked the Port City Music Hall.

- Nate Wilson flat out blew the ears off of a full, hellishly hot and incredibly festive crowd at Nateva. The word is spreading about these guys, and for good reason.

- Ryan Montbleau and his ever touring band played a packed intimate late night session in the Barn only to wake up a few hours later to lay a big Main Stage show, both of which killed.
