Last year's terrible Peanut Butter & Swelly and subsequent, ill-conceived nine-hour freestyle ground to a halt any momentum created by Chiddy Bang’s inaugural mixtape. On Breakfast, Xaphoon Jones takes a break from obvious indie-sampling, and Chiddy avoids most of his cringe-inducing rhymes. The result: delicious pop rap.
