Memorializing the late Vic Chestnutt, Demons goes well with a glass of whiskey and better with a bottle. Featuring 11 renditions of the Athens native’s work, the album deals heavily in heartache, addiction, and disillusionment. True to the spirit of its creator, though, it’s permeated with a sense of beauty.
