Aside from the familiar acoustics and catchy melodies, Kiss Each Other Clean is peppered with quirky expletives, sassy horns, discordant guitar and misplaced electronic blips. It's a welcome change that makes the album stand out from previous efforts; a suave yet aggressive approach to the same delicate and soothing instrumentation.
