Ty Segall

Slaughterhouse

7.9 out of 10

Slaughterhouse impeccably covers the lush ground between skater punk and surfer psychedelia. It’s got ample drone to start, but remains badass throughout. Segall’s sweet, retro-rock vocals are mostly absent, replaced this time around with lots of screamin’. Pretty appropriate match for the high-speed drums and crashing guitar of this album.
