Last night at the British Fashion Council Awards, "To Lee, With Love, Nick" combined moving sculpture with orchestral volume in a tribute to the late Alexander McQueen. The visuals were a product of Nick Knight, and, befitting to the exotic and haute couture nature of the film, Bjork provided the audio.
Previously unreleased, and so far only released in the brief video, this new song follows the tempo of the flickering and morphing models so accurately that you wonder which came first. Who was inspired by whom? Hypothesize for yourself while becoming entranced by the video below:
