The Followill gang strides into Boston this weekend with a show at the TD Garden. With a new album comes new directions, a much smoother tone, and fewer drunken anthemic moments than many fans have come to expect. Still, we love how the band describes the naming of Come Around Sundown; "It's a line in a song called "Small Town" by country singer John Anderson. Once we started counting how many syllables it had," Nathan says, referring to the fact that all of Kings of Leon's album titles have five syllables, "it was a no-brainer." For all the bandwagon jumping on/off Kings of Leon inspires, there's something great about a band that seeks symmetry in length of album titles.
Melophobe will be checking it out. How about you?
