Some of you will be piling in the car this weekend and making your way to George, Washington, with tents in the trunk and tickets sweaty in your palms. Sasquatch! Music Festival kicks off tomorrow, and for those attending I hope you know that I hate you less right now, because KEXP and NPR are teaming up to stream live sets all afternoon this Memorial Day Weekend. The webcast will be hosted on their website, as well as available on the go with NPR's iPhone app. There's over 40 bands streaming over the next three days, and NPR promises that even if you don't see a band that you were itching to hear and didn't have the money or means to get to, there's the high chance that they will record it and post it later for you to enjoy.
Thanks National Public Radio! Thanks KEXP 90.3! You have made the blow of missing Sasquatch! much easier to handle.
