After multiple guest appearances and a couple stints playing with folks at Coachella, Justin Vernon, a.k.a. Bon Iver, has gotten back into the groove of working on his own music and now has some concrete details on that album he was talking about. Up top you can check out the intricate and dreamy cover art for his latest self-titled work, below there's a tracklist featuring songs with names as places and at the bottom a teaser video that cuts you off just as some powerful snare starts to pop in. The press release describes those 51 seconds as “a lush landscape of silky electric guitars, intricate keys, and subtle horn and string sections, which retains the ghost choirs and densely layered vocals intact that Bon Iver is widely celebrated for.”
Yeah I agree, but I also want MORE! So don't worry, if anything else pops up you'll be sure to hear it. Just cross fingers a couple singles come out before the album drops June 21.
