The other day I went off on why the Cymbals Eat Guitars album, Why There Are Mountains and more specifically, "And The Hazy Sea" were essential 2009 listening. I stand tall behind my statements and I'm hoping some people out there took them to heart and gave the group a shot, if they hadn't already. Which leads me to the next step in the process: go out and see them live. And starting in March you'll have plenty of chances to do that, as they are going out on a 27 show trek backed by Bear In Heaven. Just go. I saw them at MFNW earlier this year, can vouch for their on-stage prowess and I'm sure they've only gotten better with more practice. Diabolical dynamics, here we come.
