Don't Move Here

One of the great things, and there are many, about living in Portland is our music scene. I probably don't have to tell you too much about the broad strokes since music magazines, blog scribes and even that dying behemoth MTV have gushed out loud about what's going on here. But, what they tend to leave out are the details, the inner-workings and the tinder that keeps the fire burning. That looks to be changing as WKE (Wieden + Kennedy Entertainment) has decided to put out webisodes that highlight different aspects of Portland's musical landscape.

Entitled Don't Move Here, the first episode, takes the viewer into the home of States Rights Records founder Steve Schroeder and then into Artistery (which we profiled here) where you get to see short clips of White Fang and Explode Into Colors performing. Interested parties can click here to watch it. And if you like that, click here for episode 2.
