We all have our pop music guilty pleasures. Somewhere inside of us is still a teenager who falls for those catchy choruses and gets down to some Katy Perry when no one's looking. Although after a few bouts around your living room, the original mixes can become boring and grating, the often vapid musical geography leaves a plenitude of room for improvement and augmentation.
Enter the world's DJs and producers – twenty-two of them to be exact – who have all seen Ms. Perry as an inspiration to drill out hotter, fresher and more electrifying versions of her music. EARMILK has collected 23 of their remixes, with mp3s to grab and share and drown yourself in without feeling too guilty. Expect to see musical whizzes such as MSTRKRFT, LMFAO, Liam Keegan and Jason Nevins as you scroll through euro techno, electro and dubtep remakes of the pop princess' saccharine singles. Above you can bounce to MSTRKRFT's interpretation of "California Gurls," which I am guilty of dancing to in the car way too often . . .
