Hands Down, The Mash-Up Album of Summer 2010: Lil Wayne and (500) Days of Summer (Download)

Necessity is the mother of mix-tapes, especially when the eminence of the form has been in prison since March. Fill your hot summer nights with some breezy tracks off mysickuncle's (500) Days of Weezy. You know indie rock+hip-hop = blog gold, so cop (download) this album. It's a motley assortment (further insulting the inclusion of Simon and Garfunkel "Bookends" in the film), and as with most mashes, the songs that work best are already built around a looped section. Just try to avoid #2 (working Regina Spektor) and #6 (showing where Doves might take their next album)--you can't and won't stop.
