M.I.A. is an aficionada when it comes to developing her own aesthetic by making her own clothes, art, videos and music into a sole experience that can be matched to no other. Now she's adding, as it appears, another persona to her image: Vicky Leaks/Vicky Leekx.
This mysterious name she's linked to herself in her Twitter will be the title of a mixtape she's banging out before year's end, and I mean literally before January 1 hits, because the mixtape is set for release on December 31. So before you get so shitfaced that you won't recognize who you kissed at midnight for good luck, keep your eyes peeled for some sweet new tunes.
She also posted a link to this beauty, which is an intro to her show that maps the crowds faces and briefly replaces them with flickering images of the generic Facebook avatar. Pretty baller, but it kinda blows that the video cuts out just as she emerges from the smoke:
