MTV forgot that they don't make music programming and cooked up an Unplugged with Vampire Weekend

MTV has released a "super-secret" (their words) Unplugged featuring Vampire Weekend. Actually, let's just continue to use their words:

Filmed in New York back in July — when VW were still putting the finishing touches on Contra — Unplugged features them working their way through a handful of songs from the new record ("White Sky," "Run," "Cousins") back when they were still in their infancy, plus three of their best-known hits ("A-Punk," "Oxford Comma," "M79").

You can watch all the videos here and then you can go down to the comments section and write giant rants about Unplugged's sudden departure from the airwaves. I don't remember anyone not loving it, do you?
