Shara Worden has returned with multiple experiences under her belt. After collaborating with The Decemberists and Vinnie Paz, becoming a mother and rounding up the yMusic ensemble for support, Worden's musical alias My Brightest Diamond will release a third album, All Things Will Unwind, on October 18.
All things Will Unwind will be a return to folk elements as Worden made the return to Detroit and became engrossed in the influences of Roberta Flack, Tom Wait and Edith Piaf. Per the press, the songs will carry lyric themes such as "class differences, the complexity of the atom, the beginning and end of time, and the experience of becoming a mother." To hear an example of how all those pieces will translate to a whole, listen to "Reaching Through to the Other Side" above and allow your imagination to fill with her rich voice and fleeting strings. A complete list of the upcoming record's tracks is also available below with a couple tour dates in New York and Illinois.
