The weekend of August 5 is coming around the bend, and with it comes this year's Pickathon Indie Roots Music Festival. With dozens of bands, kid-friendly events (especially since kids under 12 get in free!), environmentally thoughtful inclusions and opportunities to jam with the bands, Pickathon is a perfect home-away-from-home on Oregon's Pendarvis Farm. We'll be there, will you?
Check out the official schedule thanks to this handy PDF and start planning your weekend in the woods. Also, to help quell the butterflies of excitement, listen to the Smoldering Whiz Bang playlist on Pickathon's website that features music from many of the artists playing that weekend!
Tickets for weekend or the day are available here, and for those unable to attend can watch the performances live on KEXP and Pickathon from August 5 at 4 p.m. PST to August 9 at 12 p.m. PST.
