It's not often that the linear nature of an album's track titles can tell a story or convey a theme - last I saw was Sufjan Stevens' Enjoy Your Rabbit - but in the case of Prefuse 73's latest album, a tale of love, loss and loneliness is told by merely that. Featuring the vocal talents of Broadcast's Trish Keenan, Zola Jesus' Nika Rosa Danilova and My Brightest Diamond's Shara Worden, The Only She Chapters is set for release on April 26. You can hear one of the final tracks, "The Only Serenidad," above via soundcloud, or head over to Pitchfork for a sampler of the whole album.
