Soothing "Single Girls" with Laura Jansen

Laura Jansen

"Single Girls" shouldn't be confused with "Single Ladies." The latter speaks to an audience full of defiance, strength and sass; that part of the break-up where you're over the other person and onto the next best thing. The former speaks to those who might still be a little bit raw inside, where perhaps only a week has passed since the relationship ended instead of a few years, where you don't even know what to do with yourself.

Laura Jansen speaks to that audience with clarity, precision and a beautiful voice. You can hear her track "Single Girls" per this link and watch her video below. Sensitive hearts beware: you may relate to this song too much.
