The Weeknd could probably sing something in that lightly vibrating, smooth rhythm-and-blues monotone and I would swoon to it all. Paired with intelligently organized, spatially vast and slick beats, tracks such as "The Morning" and "The Party & the After Party" could convert the hardest soul to a moment of spongy absorption. It sure doesn't hurt that it's also sexy as hell. House of Balloons, their mixtape posted on their website for free with no explanation, is a collection of nine tracks from the Toronto threesome, and I suggest you listen to it as soon as possible. Check out "High For This" above and snag for keeps below if you don't already head to their website for the download.
