Toro Y Moi

For those of you obsessed with new music – you know we are! – there are three new albums that are up for stream pre-release, all courtesy of different venues. So get ready for a fix of Toro Y Moi, PJ Harvey and . . . And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead:

Toro Y Moi:
Urban Outfitters can be good for something other than kitschy clothes and ironic household decor, like providing you with a whole free stream of Underneath the Pine. With their player layout you can't be too choosy, but it does force you to embrace the album in a linear experience. Listen here, and don't forget you can own the album on February 22.
An official video for "New Beat" came out as well, so enjoy that before moving on to the next free album:

PJ Harvey:
NPR tends to be a mecca of free album streams. Granted, sometimes it's damage control for albums that leak prematurely, though that is not necessarily the case with Let England Shake. Harvey's eighth album can be heard here and owned February 15. Her voice is a little disarming in comparison to the sultry and guttural tones I'm used to hearing, but that is in no way a reason not to hear all 40 minutes.

. . . And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead:
Home also to album streams of La Sera and Cut Copy, Spinner has all twelve tracks of Tao of the Dead. You can even read lyrics to each song, which makes up for the one-second delay between songs on an otherwise seamless album. Listen to it here as a precursor to its release tomorrow, February 8.
