Thankfully, they have heard our inadvertent pleas, and two follow-ups to House of Balloons will be released later this year. The first, Thursday, will be out this summer with a second, Echoes of Silence, following in the fall. However, you won't have to wait that long for a new single, which has been vaguely announced as coming out "sooner than later."
