Let the wilderness come to you as all signs of electric life – computers, cell phones, stereos – become irrelevant in the presence of good old-fashioned acoustic instrumentation. Too often our daily autopilot puts us in the center of so much electronic noise, and often this is reflected in the music produced in this era. It's easy to forget how fulfilling vocal harmony and the natural, congruent progression of chords on a guitar can feel.
Well, for those of you who forgot, get in tune with Wilderness of Manitoba. Their latest single, "Orono Park," offers all the electronic escapism you could fathom. Hear it above, snag for keeps below and keep an eye out for their upcoming album, When You Left the Fire, due May 10.
