A friend of mine described Baths as a one-man Passion Pit with a little more crazy; he was dead on. Baths is Will Wiesenfeld, an electro producer in his early twenties whose energy is as apparent as it is contagious. Dancing around behind a table of gear, Baths was perhaps the most fun individual to watch at Pitchfork's #Offline Festival. He concentrated, tongue waggling, on twiddling knobs and flicking switches in a somewhat haphazard manner, seemingly making it up as he went. When a big break was followed by a huge drop, though, it was clear that it had all been in the plans from the beginning. It rocked, and so did the dancefloor.
