Fruit Bats

Fans of hot days and hammocks seem like the perfect audience for the sounds that Fruit Bats throw down. And for those of us with Northwest ties, who are beginning to come to terms with the onslaught of rain pouring down and the fact that their summer was just short, not sweet, it's music like this that helps us pretend that everything worked out. Melophobe photographer, Ian McNeil, graciously offered to help ease our troubled minds by attending the band's set at Mississippi Studios on Thursday and bringing it on home in picture form.
