The Martyrs

Redemption Hall

Borrow It

With glimpses of 1974 rock ‘n’ roll dispersed throughout their record, The Martyrs produce a bluesy sound that doesn’t quit. It’s clear these Portland boys have better efforts ahead, but for now, the thinking-man lyrics and sparkly jams of Redemption Hall appease any need for a sturdy rock album.
