You know, ever since I posted about Hoodie Allen's mixtape, Pep Rally, my boyfriend has been in love with his music. Apparently one of his favorite blogs, Barstool Sports, loves Hoodie too. I had my critiques given a couple songs from the previous mixtape, but given his single off his upcoming Leap Year, I gotta say this song is pretty solid.
Hoodie says "Dreams Up" is all about bringing a new attitude into the new year, and given the upbeat sampling of Oh Land's "White Knights" and idealist rhymes, it's a pretty positive attitude. You can download the track here after streaming it above.
Damn that chorus is catchy.
