Originally debuted as a b-side to their The xx cover of "Shelter," the string-accompanied single "Painted Eyes" has officially been released as a precursor to Hercules & Love Affair's Blue Songs due on August 16.
The sophomore release was slated to drop on January 31, but seeing as how that time has come and gone, they've made up for the delay by making the album a two-disc spectacular that features seven remixes of their primary singles, "My House" and "Painted Eyes."
