Merry Christmas Eve Eve, Season's Greetings and Happy Holidays! Here is the last installment of my holiday gifts to you. There's a mix of covers, originals and videos to give you that last kick into feeling festive. Don't forget to revisit parts one, two and three to keep that feeling going!
Wheat
With quivering strings and augmented vocals, Wheat brings you a classic, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," and an original, "It's Snowing - I Love You." Both can be downloaded on their website.
Dam Funk
Cranking this out in a day, Dam Funk used some cheap-ass instruments to make a jolly track, "'Tis the Season." He's channeling some Prince in his choruses, but the verses are all spoken casually about money and the reason behind the season. Hear the track via soundcloud below.

Sonic Youth
One of the couple of songs that isn't a newbie: a cover of Martin Hull's "Santa Doesn't Cop Out on Dope" by Sonic Youth from 1996. It's about as unconventional a Christmas song as you could probably find with a menagerie of squeals and screams. Hear it via soundcloud below.

R.E.M.
With another album due for 2011, R.E.M. celebrates the end of this year with a cover of "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)." Hear it below via soundcloud.
