Dylan LeBlanc put on a sleepy little set in the middle of the night at Emo’s—the most sparsely attended set of the fantastic Rough Trade showcase. It was a slow look at the country life, a rambling, ambling set that told some great stories disguised in familiar melodies. LeBlanc has a good eye for a story, although his songs eventually blend together in the ear. The best moments of the set came when his backing vocalists joined in—a nice added texture with the three part harmony.
