As an avid fan of Interpol, I feel like their last album fell a little flat. Not sure if it was the change in line-up, personal growth within the members or any other combination of factors, but aside from a provocative video and a few poignant songs, 2010's Interpol left room for desiring something . . . more. Thankfully, SALEM takes "Try It On" and adds a little punch.
Europe gets it on Record Story Day as part of a limited-edition vinyl with remixes also by Banjo or Freakout and Ikonika, but Americans have to wait until late summer to get their grubby paws on this EP. They make up for it though by at least giving us the SALEM remix for free.
