XV put the backpack in backpack rap on Wednesday night, running around the stage with a green bookbag on his back. His flow was honest and his delivery was fun to watch—an engaging combination of introspection and posturing. He partner in crime wore a “You’re Looking at a Legend” t-shirt, and although that may not exactly be the case, at least we were looking. Definitely someone to watch on the backpack rap scene in the next year or two.
